Welcome to the newest version of a series of websites, beginning
with ordinarythings.com, years ago. This one is meant to provide
information, induce slant thinking, and even amuse from time to time.
The title of the site comes from the novels of Randy Wayne White.
One of his principal characters, Tomlinson, once wrote a mysterious
paper called “One Fathom Above Sea Level.” Over time, I will try to
unearth that paper or, perhaps, recreate my version of it. Tomlinson
is an idle ne’er do well who is my hero.
Take a look at "True Simplicity". That's what I'm up to these days
with my co-conspirators Nancy and Henry and, I hope, you. We're
discovering what it really means to practice simplicity. Let's have
the new meaning of K.I.S.S be - Keep It Simple, Spiritually!
For now, you will find Silver Tea, the letters I’ve been writing to
my son for many years. That’s a separate page. Take a look.
And you will find my thoughts about aging, a process that begins
after the initial slap on the ass and ends unpredictably and right on
time. Those are at the page called Losing My Mind. Enjoy.
